Scholarship Overview
The SIIT Graduate Scholarship Program for Excellent Foreign Students (EFS) Type B is offered by Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University, Thailand. It supports excellent international students from foreign countries who wish to pursue a Master's or PhD degree at SIIT. The scholarship provides tuition and educational support, a monthly living allowance, round-trip travel support, visa and other eligible expenses, and health and accident insurance. The January 2027 intake is open to non-Thai applicants with strong academic records who meet SIIT graduate admission requirements. Applicants can study in research areas including engineering, computer science, digital engineering, logistics, management technology, energy, materials, environmental science and related fields. Scholarship recipients must maintain the required academic performance and make satisfactory progress in their Master's thesis or doctoral dissertation.

Full SIIT tuition and educational support, living allowance of THB 10,000 per month, round-trip economy travel expenses up to THB 20,000, miscellaneous expenses such as visa fees and one-time English proficiency testing up to THB 10,000, and health and accident insurance during the scholarship period. Certain Thammasat University fees are excluded from the scholarship.

Academic Requirements
Applicants must have an excellent academic record and preferably be ranked within the top 20% of their class. Applicants must also meet the admission qualifications of the relevant SIIT graduate program. Scholarship recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 to continue receiving the scholarship.
Language Requirements

Other Eligibility Notes
Applicant must not be a Thai national, must have good health and good conduct, and must not receive another type of scholarship. Application Instructions
Apply online through the SIIT Graduate Admission system. Register an account, select the SIIT Graduate Scholarship Program for Academic Year 2/2026 (January 2027 intake), complete the online application and upload all required documents. Provide two referees with official or professional institutional email addresses. Applications must be submitted between 1 and 30 September 2026. SIIT will evaluate eligible applicants and make the final scholarship decision through the SIIT Executive Committee.

Selection Process
Applicants are evaluated based on academic excellence, SIIT graduate admission qualifications, recommendation letters and overall suitability for the scholarship. Strong academic performance is expected, with applicants preferably ranked within the top 20% of their class. Final scholarship decisions are made by the SIIT Executive Committee.
Important Notes
Scholarship recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 and make satisfactory progress on their Master's thesis or doctoral dissertation each semester. Recipients must assist with SIIT work for 30 hours per semester, mainly exam proctoring, laboratory supervision or tutoring. Applicants cannot simultaneously receive another type of scholarship. The application period is 1–30 September 2026, successful candidates are scheduled to be announced on 30 October 2026, and classes begin on 4 January 2027. SIIT reserves the right to modify scholarship policies without prior notice.
