Selection Process
Scholarship selection is competitive and based on academic excellence and research potential. Under the current first-year international graduate scholarship policy, previous-degree GPA determines eligibility for consideration for the main 100% and 50% scholarship tiers. TDTU may also assess academic background, language proficiency, research potential, programme suitability and other relevant academic achievements. Meeting the minimum GPA threshold makes an applicant eligible for consideration but should not be interpreted as an automatic scholarship award.
Important Notes
The 100% TDTU international graduate scholarship covers 100% of first-year tuition, first-year dormitory accommodation and the full admission fee under the current policy; it should not be interpreted as covering all living expenses, airfare, visa expenses or personal costs. Applicants must provide financial proof showing at least USD 2,500 in their own bank account. The current official international graduate application requirements do not list an application fee. TDTU's general scholarship page lists 15 November as the Spring scholarship deadline, while the current Master's Phase 2 admission call closes on 6 November 2026; applicants should therefore follow the earlier applicable admission deadline. Scholarship availability and programme admission requirements are subject to TDTU's official regulations.
